This option is machine-based sharpening with basic tip/chip repairs done as needed. These can be requested with a coarser, "toothy" edge or a more polished edge to your preference. Additionally, we can do these with flat sided bevels or a convex edge for additional strength in high-stress applications.

This pricing is for smaller orders and includes blades of any size.
For high end kitchen knives, Japanese knives (including single bevel knives) this service is offered. We use Shapton Glass Stones, typically stopping at a 4k edge finish to retain a proper "bite", then stropping unless otherwise requested. Thinning and repair work done by hand will be quoted individually.
